George Shaw sold used cars on a television program he created and hosted, for the NBC affiliate WAVY-TV in Portsmouth, Virginia. The photographs were taken in 1960.

 





         

In March of 1969, more than 1,000 Canadian soldiers took part in Exercise "Nimrod Caper" in Jamaica. The troops were from the 1st Royal Canadian Regiment of London, Ontario, Mobile Command and Air Transport Command.
