The Royal B.C. Museum in Victoria, British Columbia may demolish "Monuments to Colonialism" including life-sized dioramas of HMCS Discovery, a village, coal mine, and a salmon fishery.

(Stanley Park is still a federal landmark. During the year 1988 Prime Minister Mulroney bestowed upon the park the title, National Historic Site of Canada.)
