A military hospital in Toronto was given away to the University of Toronto: House of Commons Ottawa July 12, 1966: Mr. Thomas Speakman Barnett, Comox-Alberni, B.C. (Co-operative Commonwealth Foundation CCF): "I should like to ask the Minister of Industry whether since the federal government has sold Sunnybrook Hospital to the University of Toronto for one dollar, the government will consider like action and selling a much less valuable property in Alberni for a like amount."
