Who really owns the CN Tower?

House of Commons Debates
Member of Parliament  Brian Jean, March 24, 2010.
"...in 1993, the Canadian government entered into an agreement to transfer title to the railway company (CN Rail) of all Canadian government railway lands across Canada for $1 dollar. When CN was privatized in 1995, CN became the full owner of the Quebec Bridge."

Member of Parliament Mark Gerretsen, Kingston and the Islands. March 9, 2017.
"...The Outer Station in Kingston is a designated historical site that was built by the Grand Trunk Railway in 1856, 11 years before Confederation, to serve as a halfway point between Montreal and Toronto....The station was closed in 1974, and despite its historical importance, it now sits derelict and in ruins...the city has estimated that it would cost nearly $4 million dollars for CN, the current owner, to repair this building and clean up the contamination of the land." (Note: CN/Bill Gates offered to sell the train station to the City for $1 dollar but the City refused. A real estate company that bought the Prison for Women on 40 Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard offered to move what is left of the Outer Station.-AC.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
CN called for the demolition of many heritage buildings on the south side of Front Street in Toronto including Union Station and the Dominion Public Building. The plan was approved by Toronto City Council in 1970:
Union Station during the early 1950's. The Dominion Public Building, seen in the background, was recently privatized by the Government of Canada. Politicians including City Councillor Mike Layton refused to let Larco build residential towers on the Dominion Public Building. And the entire district, including the Royal York Hotel and the John Street Roundhouse is protected by the Ontario Government, the area is part of the Union Station Ontario Heritage Conservation District.
Union Station was sold to the City of Toronto, and the landmark is being extensively altered.
House of Commons Debates
Member of Parliament Steve Mahoney, Mississauga West, Liberal, November 20, 1998.
"I think of the debate going on right now as to whether Union Station should be acquired by the City of Toronto, the province, the federal government, a private sector developer, or a combination of these to ensure that the architectural structure of Union Station is preserved."
The Spadina Roundhouse was demolished to make way for the Skydome Arena and the Skydome Hotel.
Is there a clue in this document or is it synchronicity?

A 2007 Globe and Mail newspaper ad. Bill Gates has been a CNR shareholder since 2006. The real estate was collectively owned by all Canadians. Member of Parliament from Winnipeg, Manitoba Bill Blaikie called the privatization of the railway "a sad day" in the history of Canada. (House of Commons.)
