During the early 1980's I was a cleaning lady at the Conference Centre, a federal building which is across the street from the Chateau Laurier Hotel. I had to wear a uniform, a name tag, and I had to swear an Oath of Allegiance to the Sovereign before a commissionaire.
UNESCO is called upon to save many of Canada's National Parks and and National Historic Sites.
A statue called "The Universal Man" was removed from the base of the CN Tower.
