-an average of 100 ambulance trips are expected every day, with 75% of the trips on Maple Drive and 25% on Prince of Wales Drive. (page 3/87.)

-inability of the Dominion Observatory to ever function again when the telescope is returned. "Impacts to views from the Observatory dome to the sky-should a telescope be reinstated-will be irreversible and permanent once Tower A of the Hospital Building is realized. Also, light spillover and pollution can reduce the amount of stars and astrological features visible." (Page 8/87)

-new roads will be constructed.

"Historic structures, particularly those built of masonry, are susceptible to damage from vibration caused by pavement breakers, plate compactors, utility excavations and increased heavy vehicle travel in the immediate vicinity. Like any structure, they are also threatened by collisions with heavy machinery, subsidence from utility line failures or excessive dust." (Page 4/87.)
The Dominion Observatory was "constructed of the highest quality materials and craftsmanship, the public and functional facades of the buildings are unified by the masonry work." (Google: Canada's Historic Places.)
