Save Canada's libraries.

Who is saving of Canada's written and built history? Back in 2003 National Librarians were told to decentralize, photograph and save material in the Archives. National libraries were kept by Environment Canada; Citizenship and Immigration; Industry Canada; PWGSC; Agriculture Canada and other departments:
The Agriculture Canada Library is one of  the finest in the world, and was located in the Sir John Carling Building.
I believe that the Sir William Logan Building at 580 Booth Street will be flattened, 580 Booth is the repository for "a comprehensive collection of Canadian policy and economics literature  in the fields of forestry, energy, metals and materials."

A statue that was commissioned by Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau was taken from the base of Toronto's CN Tower. "The Universal Man" is now gracing a Yorkdale Mall parking lot in Toronto.

"The Universal Man" was created by Gerald Gladstone. (Photo from Wikipedia).

The original Winged Victory Statue  that stood on a gate at the entrance to the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, Ontario. However, the statue was taken down in 1986, and replaced with an exact replica made of polymer plastic.

Canada's Coat of Arms. They were taken from Dominion Buildings, Post Offices, Armouries, museums and landmarks when they were privatized.
Another Recognized Federal Heritage Building that is currently being divested by the Government of Canada.
The Brandon, Manitoba Dominion Building - 1039 Princess Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba.

Canada Post, the Canada Revenue Agency; Corrections Canada; Veterans Affairs; Industry Canada and Employment and Social Development were located here.
