Who is ordering the destruction of Canada's written and built history? Back in 2003 Canada's National Libraries were dismantled, much to the horror of researchers and historians. Librarians were told to decentralize, photograph or basically destroy material from the following national libraries:
ENVIRONMENT CANADA
CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION CANADA
INDUSTRY CANADA
NATIONAL DEFENCE
PUBLIC WORKS AND GOVERNMENT SERVICES
NATIONAL CAPITAL COMMISSION
AGRICULTURE CANADA
The Agriculture Canada Library was one of the finest in the world, and was located in the Sir John Carling Building. Is it a coincidence, that the Carling Building was demolished:
Radio-Canada in Montreal is now selling 165,000 vinyl records and CD's, according to a March 14, 2019 article: "CBC puts out call to take 165,000 surplus vinyl and CD's" by Michael Vincent, THE SCOOP TORONTO. Is it a coincidence, the Maison Radio Canada was recently "divested."
I believe that the Sir William Logan Building at 580 Booth Street will be flattened, 580 Booth is the repository for "a comprehensive collection of Canadian policy and economics literature in the fields of forestry, energy, metals and materials."

A statue that was commissioned by Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau was wrenched from the base of Toronto's CN Tower, and lay face down in the mud for several years near the Skydome. "The Universal Man" is now gracing a Yorkdale Mall parking lot in Toronto.
