Proof - The Dominion Observatory is in the Danja Zone. Ground zero in the Ottawa Civic Hospital's relocation plans.

"The Ottawa Hospital's new campus will be located near the intersection of Carling Avenue and Preston Street, bordered by Prince of Wales Drive and Maple Lane." (From: "Province of Ontario announces planning grant for the Ottawa Hospital's new campus." June 4, 2019.)
The Observatory Campus near Carling Avenue, Ottawa. Maple Drive can be seen in the lower half of this Ingenium photo from 1966.
The new health facility will take over: The Dow's Lake parking lot; Dominion Observatory; South Azimuth and Photo Equatorial Buildings; Sir John Carling site and 60 acres of valuable green space including mature trees. The hospital will probably expand (construction is ongoing at the Queensway Carleton on Baseline Road.) Eventually the K.W. Neatby Building will be demolished and the Department of Public Works will sell or give the Queen Juliana Park to the Civic. The park is 2 minutes away from the Observatory Campus.

This agenda has been in the planning stages for years, behind closed doors. Now I know why the Chretien government wanted to demolish the Observatory Campus during the 1990's and it was not because of "budget cuts." A group of prominent individuals in the city are calling for a public inquiry to find out why the hospital will be built on a National Historic Site of Canada, near important tourist venues. The group is called Reimagine Ottawa. In my opinion, this mega hospital will inflict unimaginable damage on:
 the Dow's Lake and Commissioner's Park tourist and memorial sites;
 Carling Avenue and Prince of Wales Drive;
 Little Italy and the Central Experimental Farm.
The irreplaceable landmarks that are part of Canada's astrophysical heritage.

The people of Canada have already lost 91 acres of Farm land:
The Experimental Farm Ottawa in 1983. Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and Agriculture Ministers Bud Olson and Eugene Whelan refused to sell or give away one acre of the property, it was "untouchable."

The Experimental Farm in 2018. During the year 1988, 91 acres of the National Historic Site of Canada were sold to the City of Ottawa. The Clyde/Merivale lands were eventually bought by the creator of the Central Park housing subdivision. This map is from the Federal Directory of Real Property website.
