Canadians owned Crown property worth $40 to $60 billion dollars in 1985---Minister of Public Works Erik Nielsen.

The Hon. Erik Nielsen was interviewed by Stevie Cameron for her book "On the Take."
Then the Canada Lands Company was created in 1995 and the agency "proactively" pursued their agenda to privatize every federal landscape and building in this country.
The Canadian National Railway was sold to Bill Gates and his cronies.
Most of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's real estate holdings, the transmission towers and archives were divested.

The Fraser Institute recommended that all federal real estate in British Columbia should be denationalized or devolved to the province of BC. That includes the National Parks, Canada Post, Canada Mortgage and Housing, Agriculture Canada...
Hundreds of Dominion Buildings that housed Canada Post, the RCMP, Canada Customs and manpower and Immigration were divested. Now Canada Post operates out of Shoppers Drug Mart stores and gas stations, and the employees do not have to wear Canada Post uniforms or name tags, and I never see a Canadian Maple Leaf Flag at any of these substations.
When I was a Government of Canada employee I had to wear a uniform with a name tag and I had to swear an Oath of Allegiance to Her Majesty the Queen before I was accepted as an employee. I was conscious of the fact that it was an honour to work for the Public Service or the Civil Service.

The Farm in Ottawa should be designated Canada's National Farm or The People's Farm because it belongs to all Canadians. Not to the National Capital Commission, Public Works, the Civic Hospital or the Claridge  and Richcraft real estate empires.
Just as the Canadian National Railway was "The People's Railway" before it was sold to robber barons and balkanized and the stations were demolished and ribbons of steel were lifted from the ground.
