National Capital Commission decisions.

 The Dominion Observatory may be transferred to the government of Ontario or City of Ottawa. The Mulroney government divested the Gonzales Dominion Observatory, 302 Denison Road, Victoria BC to an agency called The Capital Regional District.
The NCC refused to become involved when Larco tried to build a modern wing behind the Chateau Laurier Hotel, because the hotel was private property.
The NCC gave the Ottawa Civic 50 acres of land on a National Historic Site of Canada and a National Interest Land Mass--- the Farm. Hundreds of trees will be sacrificed, Prince of Wales Drive widened, the South Azimuth may be removed/flattened. The Farm is supposed to be an open space in perpetuity:

Sold the 84-acre Moffat Farm to Phoenix Developments. The City of Ottawa was prepared to pay the National Capital Commission $400,000 dollars for the Veteran's Affairs land near Mooney's Bay.The City wanted to preserve the land as a green space.
Vacant land next to Major's Hill Park was sold to the American Embassy. Temporary government buildings that were constructed during World War 11 were located here. And temporary federal buildings were constructed on Queen Juliana Park, 780 Carling Avenue. Building #8 was an Environment Canada property.

The Crown corporation is divesting Greenbelt land. The Greenbelt is a National Interest Land Mass and is supposed to be untouchable.
