RCAF Rockcliffe, Ottawa, Ontario. Photographs are from the National Archives.

American aviator Charles Lindbergh and a Lockheed "Sirius" aircraft , Rockcliffe. The entire, historic 1931 flight is documented in the book "North to the Orient".

 Out-of-this-world street names at CFB Rockcliffe:
Jupiter Avenue, Via Venus, Mars Avenue, Via Vega, Polaris Avenue.
Arcturus Crescent - Arcturus is a giant star in the Northern Herisphere.
Vega - is the brightest star in the constellation of Lyra.
Castor Avenue - Castor is a binary star in the constellation of Gemini, approximately 46 light years from earth.
The airman who is second from the left in this photo could be my Dad.
