More reasons why a hospital should not be built on the Farm.

1.)  "There are concerns that high volumes of traffic will utilize roads within the Central Experimental Farm such as Maple Drive, Birch Drive and the National Capital Commission Driveway."(Google: City of Ottawa - Notice of Planning Committee-May 11, 2018.)

2.)  Widening of Prince of Wales Drive and changes to The Driveway, Maple Drive and Birch Drive pose a threat to the Arborteum and the Ornamental Gardens.(Google: The Sir John Carling Site-Greenspace Alliance of Canada's Capital.)

3.)  "Concerns have been raised on numerous issues, including the loss of Crown-owned open space; adverse impacts on the Central Experimental Farm; adverse impacts on Dow's Lake and the Rideau Canal; traffic implications on Prince of Wales Drive, the Central Experimental Farm and local neighbourhood streets; integration of the O-Train and future LRT Station into the project; design excellence; pedestrian/cycling connectivity/accessibility; certainty in how and what will be constructed." The streets are:
Bayswater, Sherwood Drive, Breezehill, Loretta,
Champagne Avenue South, Prince of Wales Drive, Norfolk Avenue,
Adeline, Sidney and Preston.

4.)  "The new Ottawa Hospital must integrate into the Preston-Carling District Secondary Plan. It must adhere to:

Section 4.2.4 Animated Building Edge

In the 99-year lease agreement TOH agreed to maintain several parking spaces for the Dow's Lake Pavilion and adjacent areas. However, TOH did not promise that surface parking would be preserved.
