Universities are buying historic Canadian properties.

1.)  Carleton University - Dominion Chalmers Church, 355 Cooper Street, Ottawa.
2.)  Queen's University - Prison for Women National Historic Site, 40 Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard, Kingston, Ontario. The prison was sold in 2017 to a developer who is building high rise condominiums on the land and converting the building into commercial and residential space.

4.)  Royal Roads Military College in Victoria, British Columbia is now Royal Roads University.
5. )  University of Windsor - Windsor Armoury.
